They were thus seised in their demesne as of fee. The grant was made by indented charter dated on 10 January 1430, in which he was described as John Hill of Spaxton, son and heir of Robert Hill and Isabel his wife. The charter was shown to the jurors. The grant was made on condition that Edward, John, John, and William re-enfeoff John Hill and Cecily his wife, still living, with the manors and advowson, to have to them and the heirs and assigns of John. Edward, John, John, and William therefore granted the manors and advowson, with all lands, tenements, rents, reversions, and services in the manors and in Fursyate, to John Hill and Cecily his wife, and to the heirs and assigns of John, to hold of the chief lords of those fees by due service. The grant was made by indented charter dated on 24 January 1430, shown to the jurors. John was thus seised of the manors and advowson in his demesne as of fee, and Cecily was seised in her demesne as of free tenement. John died seised of this estate. He held the following in his demesne as of fee.
