Holdings
William, Lord Botreaux , now deceased, was formerly seised of the following in demesne as of fee.
Rodden, the manor by Frome in Selwood, annual value £10, held of the king as of his duchy of Lancaster as of the honour of Trowbridge, service unknown.
By indenture, read and shown to the jurors, William granted the manor to John Stafford and Anne his wife, daughter of William, and to the heirs of their bodies, to be held of William and his heirs by such services as he had held it of the chief lords of the fee. Failing such heirs, the manor should revert to William and his heirs and assigns in perpetuity. Anne died with John still living.

He died on 5 November last. Humphrey Stafford is their son and next heir, and aged 32 weeks and more.

Littywood, the manor, annual value 66s. 8d., held of Humphrey, earl of Stafford , service unknown.
and a moiety of the manors, annual value £13 6s. 8d., held of the king in chief by knight service.n013 By indenture read and shown to the jurors, and without royal licence, he granted the above to John Stafford and Anne his wife, and to the heirs of their bodies. Failing such issue, the manors and moieties should successively remain to William son of Humphrey and to the heirs of his body; Thomas son of Humphrey and to the heirs of his body; Humphrey son of Humphrey, and to the heirs of his body; and to Richard Stafford, knight , son of Humphrey and to the heirs of his body, to be held of Humphrey and his heirs by the service that was formerly due to the chief lords of the fee. Failing such issue, the above should remain and revert to Humphrey Stafford and his heirs and assigns in perpetuity. Anne died with John still living.
