Holdings
He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief in demesne or service, but was lately seised of the following in demesne as of fee.
Allett, ½ manor, held of the king as of his castle of Launceston as of his duchy of Cornwall by knight service. There are 20 messuages, worth 20s. yearly; 100 a. arable, 6 a. meadow, 100 a. pasture, and 40 a. woodland, worth £4 yearly; 46s. 7d. assize rent taken from free tenants, payable at Easter and Michaelmas; and perquisites of court, worth nothing yearly above the costs and expenses of the seneschal.
Halwyn, the manor. The capital messuage and site are worth nothing yearly; and there are 12 messuages, 6 Cornish a. arable, 12 a. meadow, and 100 a. pasture, worth £6 yearly; 7s. 3d. assize rent taken from free tenants, payable as above; and perquisites of court, worth nothing yearly above the costs and expenses of the seneschal, held of the heirs of Richard Sergeaux as of his manor of Tremodrett, service unknown.
There are 6 messuages and 6 Cornish a. land in Calamansack, Tregarthen, Tregonce, Trevance, Blable, and Trewince. Of these,
4 messuages and 4 Cornish a. land in Tregonce, Trevance, Blable, and Trewince are held of Edmund, bishop of Exeter , as of his manor of Pawton in free socage, annual value 40s.;
one messuage and one Cornish acre of land in Calamansack are held of William, Lord Botreaux , as of his manor of Bosworgey, service unknown, annual value 10s.; and
one messuage and one Cornish acre of land in Tregarthen are held of the heirs of William, late Lord Harington , as of his manor of Truthwall, service unknown, annual value 20s.
By indented charter dated Halwyn 27 October 1418, he granted the above to Henry Nanskelly , perpetual vicar of St Issey , for the lives of Arthur and Isabel his wife, still living, with remainder after their deaths to Margaret daughter and heir of their bodies, in perpetuity. The manor and ½ manor were described as all his messuages, lands, and tenements with rents and services of all free tenants in the moiety of the manor of Allet, with reversions when they fall, and all his messuages, lands, and tenements, with rents and services of all free tenants in the manor of Halwyn, namely, in the vills of Halwyn, Langergale, Tregennan, Lanvean, Venton Ends, Penance, Tretrinnick, Pinskin, Trewince, Mesangrouse, Penhall , Treryek , Trencruk, Tregonce, Trevance, Blable, Legossick, Carthew, Meskevaunogh, Padstow, Calamansack, Tregarthen, and one of the isles of Scilly called Agnes, with reversions when they fall. The charter was shown to the jurors. Henry was thus seised in demesne as of free tenement. By charter dated Halwyn 8 December 1418, Henry granted the above to Arthur and Isabel his wife for their lives. They were thereby seised in demesne as of free tenement. The charter was shown to the jurors.

Arthur died on 5 March last. Margaret is his daughter and next heir, and aged 18 and more.
