Peter afterwards died and Joan then married Robert Corbet, knight . Robert and Joan granted the manor to John Ebryngton and Thomas Palystede , and to the heirs of John in perpetuity. Thomas had issue: John, and died seised of this estate.

He died on 5 July 1417 and right in the manor descended to John his son and heir who was thus seised in demesne as of fee tail.
