Ralph Pyrot was seised of the following in demesne as of fee. Maudeleyns, the manor, held of the king in chief as 1/100 knight’s fee. It extends into Northchurch, Rickmansworth, and Standon. There are various buildings greatly in need of repair, worth nothing yearly; 9s. 2d. rent from free tenants and tenants-at-will; one dovecot, worth 3s. 4d. yearly; 80 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; one field of arable called ‘Denefeld’, worth 16s. yearly; a field of arable called ‘Hilfeld’, worth 8s. 4d. yearly; a field called ‘Madamfeld’, worth 8s. 4d. yearly; a field called ‘Millefeld’, worth 6s. 8d. yearly; a croft called ‘Merlyng’, worth 2s. yearly; pasture called ‘Kyngeshell’, worth 15s. yearly; 2 meadows called ‘Chapelcroftis’, worth 3s. 4d. yearly; 3 a. meadow at ‘Lollesley’, worth 3s. yearly; 30 a. wood and underwood, worth 5s. yearly; 4 a. meadow in Rickmansworth, each acre worth ?20d. yearly; and ?4s. rent from tenements in Standon [ms galled and worn]. By a fine levied at York on the quindene of Martinmas 1302, Ralph Pyrot granted the manor to Laurence de Broke and Ellen his wife, and to the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to the right heirs of Laurence in perpetuity. The fine was exemplified under the great seal of ‪ Henry VI and shown to the jurors [CP 25/1/87/48 no. 365]. Laurence and Ellen had issue: Agnes, and died. Right in the manor descended to Agnes, by virtue of the grant, as daughter and heir of Laurence and Ellen. Agnes had issue: Joan, and died. Right in the manor descended to Joan. Joan married Peter Skudamour, knight , and they had issue: Katherine who married John Reynes and had issue: Thomas, named in the writ. Peter afterwards died and Joan then married Robert Corbet, knight . Robert and Joan granted the manor to John Ebryngton and Thomas Palystede , and to the heirs of John in perpetuity. John and Thomas afterwards granted the manor to Robert Corbet and William Rokwood , and to their heirs in perpetuity. Robert and William granted the manor to John Reynes , John Barton , John Olney of Weston Underwood , Richard Reynes, esquire , and Thomas Reynes , and their heirs in perpetuity. Katherine mother of Thomas died after this grant, as did Joan, and right in the manor descended from Joan to Thomas Reynes , kin and heir of Joan as the son of Katherine daughter of Joan. By virtue of the fine, Thomas Reynes expelled John Reynes , John Barton , John Olney de Weston Underwood , and Richard from the manor and he continued in his sole estate for life. Thomas had issue: John, and died seised of this estate. The correct lineage of this family is recorded in 672. Ralph son of Laurence and Ellen had three daughters, one of whom was called Agnes.

He died on 5 July 1417 and right in the manor descended to John his son and heir who was thus seised in demesne as of fee tail. John died on 20 October 1421 aged 4 years, a minor without heir of his body. From John, right in the manor descended to William Strete , his kin and heir as the son of Cecily daughter of Katherine mother of Thomas father of John. William is aged 22 and more.

John Hertwell occupied the manor and took its profits, title and manner unknown, from 5 July 1417.
