He died seised of the following.
Caldecote, the manor, in his demesne as of fee, held of the king in chief by service of suit to the king’s hundred of Seckloe at Easter and Michaelmas, and paying 22s. to the king as serjeanty at Martinmas. In the manor there are a carucate, worth 24s. yearly; 5 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. yearly; and the site, of no value.
Newport Pagnell, 2 virgates within the vill, held of Joan Beauchamp, Lady de Bergeveney , of her manor of Newport Pagnell in socage, annual value 5s. each.
Calverton, a virgate within the vill, held of [blank] earl of Oxford , a minor in the king’s wardship, in socage, annual value 10s.
He died on 10 December last. William Caldecote is his son and next heir, aged 5 years and more.
