As specified in the writ, it was found by an earlier inquisition held before Philip Baynard, escheator of ‪Henry IV [CIPM XIX, no. 402], that Thomas Warner , deceased, was seised at his death of
a messuage and a virgate in Bishop’s Waltham
and
a toft and 2 virgates called ‘Quablond’ in the vill of Titchfield
. He held jointly enfeoffed with Isabel Ouerton , formerly his wife, by gift of John Ouerton to Thomas and Isabel and the heirs of their bodies, remainder to Isabel’s right heirs. Thomas and Isabel had issue a daughter named Elizabeth, who had issue a son named Thomas Tauk of Hampnett, who had issue a son named Robert, then a minor, to whom the messuage, toft and land descended by the form of the gift as the kinsman and heir of Thomas Warner and Isabel, as son of Thomas Tauk son of Elizabeth, their daughter.
Isabel, Elizabeth and Thomas Tauk are dead. Isabel died on 10 October 1400, Elizabeth on 7 July 1404 and Thomas Tauk on 11 October 1405.
