the manor of Old Shoreham, in which there are the site, worth nothing yearly; 240 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 6 a. meadow, each acre worth 10d. yearly; and pasture for 100 wethers, worth 4s. yearly. It is held of John duke of Norfolk of the castle of Bramber, service unknown.

This duke, son of Elizabeth, one of the sisters of the late earl, Joan Lady de Bergevenny , second sister, and Edmund son of Margaret, third sister, are the next heirs of the late earl to this manor; the duke is aged 30 years and more, Joan 40 years and more, and Edmund 3 years and more.
