Long before his death he was seised in his demesne as of fee of 9 messuages, 300 a. land, 5 a. meadow, 100 a. pasture, 4 a. wood and 25s. rent, in Barkingdon, Sparkwell, Hook, Southdown and Aylescott. By the fine detailed in 584 and shown to the jurors, Nicholas Langeford and John Raynold granted the messuage, land, meadow, pasture, wood and rent, among other lands and tenements in Cornwall, to John Bevyle and Agnes his wife, terms as in 584 but remainder only to the right heirs of John Bevyle .
