He did not die seised of any lands or tenements held of the king in chief in demesne or in service. He died seised of the following in his demesne as of fee tail, to himself and his heirs of his body according to the manner and form below.

Kirkharle, the manor, held of Ralph earl of Westmorland of his lordship of Bolbeck by service of 1/4 knight’s fee, annual value these days after the payment of ‘rent resolute’, 40s.
Great or Little Bavington, the manor, held of John duke of Bedford of his manor of Prudhoe by knight service, annual value 30s.
Hawick, the manor, held of Robert Raymes of his manor of Harnham in socage, paying to him 5s. yearly for all other services, annual value nothing these days because laid waste.
Sweethope, the hamlet, held of the possessors of the manor of Thockrington in socage by service of rendering a pair of spurs as 2s. for all other services, annual value nothing because laid waste and untenanted.
?Crookdean, the hamlet, held of the same duke of Bedford of his same manor of Prudhoe in socage, paying 4d. yearly to him, annual value nothing for the same reasons.
?Deanham, 3 parts of the vill with its members, held of the same Robert Raymes and of Robert de Swynburn of their manor of Bolam in socage, paying 5s. yearly to them for all other services, annual value 20s.
He held these by virtue of a grant to William de Strother son of Thomas de Strother son of Alan de Strother, junior , by Henry de Strother son of Alan de Strother, senior . After the death of William son of Thomas, who died without heirs of his body, the manors, hamlets and 3 parts remained in whole to the following according to the form of the gift: Thomas del Strother , his brother, and the heirs of his body, who died without heirs; to John de Strother , named in the writ, as son of Alan junior , and the heirs of his body, who died without heir; and now to William de Strother his brother and the heirs of his body.
He died seised of the manor of Wallington jointly enfeoffed with Agnes his wife, who survives, in his demesne as of fee tail by gift of Richard de Keelby to them and the heirs of their bodies. The manor should remain after Agnes’s death to William de Strother , his brother, and his heirs by virtue of this gift because John died without heir of his body. The manor is held of Nicholas Turpyn of his manor of Whitchester by knight service, annual value 40s.

He died on Sunday 11 March last before... [ms torn]. William de Strother , son of Alan junior , and his brother is his heir... [and is aged]... years and more.
