She held

the manor of Rotherfield Greys in her demesne as of fee of ‪ Henry IV . In the manor there are buildings worth nothing yearly because derelict; 12 cottages, each worth 20d. yearly; 260 a. sterile arable, each acre worth 3d. yearly; 12 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. yearly; 60s. rents of service at Easter and Michaelmas from tenants in Rotherfield Greys and Henley-on-Thames; a park, worth nothing yearly after enclosure and maintenance of the beasts of the chase; and the advowson of Rotherfield Greys church belonging to the manor, worth £10 yearly.

She died on 20 November 1408 [CIPM XIX, nos 613 –15]. William son of John and Joan was then her next heir; he died on 5 September last without heir of his body. Alice and Margaret are his sisters and next heirs, Alice aged 18 years on 24 February last and Margaret aged 17 years on 21 September last.

Ralph earl of Westmorland occupied the manor from the time of Joan’s death, and Joan late queen of England , took the issues by his hands, manner unknown.
