n342^: The original date in ms for the inquisition of 403 was 18 Henry VI only: 10 December is an insert.

n343^: The ms records the date of death as ‘Thursday after the Purification of Mary last’. The date of death given in the inquisition of 404 is also ‘Thursday after the Purification of Mary last’, but the different regnal year given for the date of the inquisition means that this translates as 4 February last (1440).
