He held the following in demesne as of fee.
‘Jesmouth’ alias Jesmond, a moiety of 1/3 manor and a moiety of 1/3 advowson of the free chapel of St Mary the Virgin, held of the king in chief as 1/12 knight’s fee and rendering 13 1/2d. yearly in castleward at Newcastle upon Tyne on the Sunday after the feast of the Apostles Philip and James.n278 In the moiety of 1/3 manor, there is a moiety of 1/3 manorial site, totally laid waste, worth nothing yearly; 30 a. arable demesne, each acre worth 6d. yearly: sum 15s.; 4 a. meadow, each acre worth 18d. yearly: sum 6s.; 8 a. pasture, each acre worth 6d. yearly: sum 4s.; and a moiety of 1/3 wood containing 20 a., worth nothing yearly above the keeper’s fee, and enclosure and upkeep of the same: the herbage there is worth nothing yearly.

He died on 14 June last. Conan Ask is his son and next heir, and aged 36 and more.

Easby, a messuage, worth 8d. yearly, and 30 a. land, each acre worth 6d. yearly, held of the abbot of St Agatha’s by Richmond, service unknown.
Gilling West, a messuage, worth 12d. yearly, and 2 bovates, each worth 6s. 8d. yearly, held of the king as of his honour and castle of Richmond by service of rendering 20d. to the king for all service.
Rents and farms of all the lands and tenements are payable at Martinmas and Pentecost equally.
