No lands or tenements came into the king’s hand because of the death of Alice and the minority of Beatrice only. But the following lands, etc., came into the king’s hand because of the death of Alice and the minority of Elizabeth, wife of John Curteys , and of Emma, wife of John Squyry , still living, daughters and heirs of Alice, begat by Alice and Thomas Lathe, her first husband, now deceased, and of the said Beatrice, third daughter and heir of Alice, begat by Alice and John Cavendissh her last husband, likewise now deceased. Alice was seised of them in demesne as of fee.She died on 27 June 1429. Thomas Persons is her kin and next heir, viz., son of Beatrice, sister of Alice, her mother, and is aged 40 years and more.
