By virtue of this fine, William, John, John, Edmund, William, John and John were seised of the manors in demesne as of free tenement, and Robert Curteys in demesne as of fee, and of the advowson as of fee and right. Afterwards, Robert Curteys , by a deed of his, likewise shown to the jurors, dated at Kingsdon on 12 April 1417, released and quitclaimed, for him and his heirs, all claim which he had or might have in the future in the manors and advowson, among other specified manors and advowsons, to William, John, John, Edmund, William, John and John, and their heirs and assigns, so that neither he, his heirs, nor anyone in his name, could demand or lay claim to any right or claim in the manors or advowson, or any parcel of the same, being excluded from all action, right, title and claim. By virtue of this, William, John, John, Edmund, William, John and John were seised of the manors in demesne as of fee, and of the advowson as of fee and right. Afterwards, William, Edmund and William died, and John, John, John and John held the manors and advowson by right of survivorship. They allowed Maud, lately countess of Arundel , to have and occupy the manors and advowson at their will. From the time of the fine, and after the deaths of William, Edmund and William, free tenement of the manors remained with John, John, John and John. Maud had no other estate in the manors or advowson on the day she died or at any time before except only so much as at the will of John, John, John and John.TNA reference
