Acton, Kettlebaston, Sudbury, Long Melford and Preston, a messuage called ‘Clerebeks’, containing 4 a., worth nothing yearly, 84 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly, 10 a. wood, worth nothing this year because it is not seasonable for cutting, but seven years hence it will be seasonable, and each acre will then be worth 2s., 6 a. meadow, each acre worth 8d. yearly, 4 a. pasture, each acre worth 4d. yearly, and 14s. rent from tenants, payable at Michaelmas and Easter equally, held of the king as of his honour of Hatfield Peverel by service of 1/3 knight’s fee and suit of court at the king’s court held at Hatfield Peverel, Essex, once a year.

He died on 27 March last. Thomas Clerebek , his son and next heir, is aged half a year and no more.
