Christine, wife of Robert Haryngton, knight , Margaret, wife of Matthew Whitfeld, knight , Isabel, wife of Thomas Flemyng , and Elizabeth, wife of Robert Crakanthorp , are his daughters and next heirs. Christine is aged 26 years, Margaret is 25 years, Isabel is aged 24 years, and Elizabeth is aged 23 years and more.

He died jointly seised of the following manors with Katherine, lately his wife, still living, to have to them and the heirs male of their bodies, by grant of Thomas Warcopp of Lammerside and John Scarlet, chaplain , with successive remainders as follow: to the heirs male of the body of John de Lancastre ; to Robert de Lancastre , brother of John, for life; to John de Lancastre , son of William de Lancastre of Yanwath, and to the heirs male of his body; to Christopher de Lancastre , brother of John, son of William, and to the heirs male of his body; to William de Lancastre , son of Robert, and to the heirs male of his body; to William de Lancastre of Hartsop, and to the heirs male of his body; and to the right heirs of John de Lancastre , to hold of the chief lord of that fee by due service. The grant was made by a fine levied on the quindene of Easter 1425 [CP 25/1/291/65, no. 34]. The fine was shown to the jurors.

There are 2 messuages, each worth 6s. 8d. yearly; 20 a. land, each acre worth 6d. yearly; a fulling-mill, worth 10s. yearly; a close called ‘Laweparke’, worth 13s. 4d. yearly; a close called ‘le Heghparke’, worth 20s. yearly; a close called ‘Bukstalles’, worth 20s. yearly; 100 a. wood, each acre worth 2d. yearly; and 200 a. pasture, each acre worth 1d. yearly.
Loughrigg, the manor, held of the king in chief as 1/5 knight’s fee. There are 8 husband-messuages, each worth 10s. yearly; 10 a. land, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 6 a. meadow, each acre worth 6d. yearly; and 200 a. wood and pasture, each acre worth 2d. yearly.
Milburn, the manor, annual value £4, held of Thomas, Lord Clifford , a minor in the king’s wardship, by service of rendering 20s. cornage yearly, and £4 20d. farm called ‘Blauncheferme’ yearly.
