Regarding his inheritance as son of Thomas Harecourt, chevalier , who held of ‪ Henry V in chief. The lands and tenements are in the custody of Joan widow of Thomas, William Lee of Knightley, Christopher Boynton , John Potter, parson of Standlake , and John Harpour , by commission of Henry V [CFR 1413–1422, p. 355]. Inform Joan, William, Christopher, John, and John of the forthcoming proof of age.

Richard Nowell , aged 60 years and more, sworn and diligently examined on the age of Robert Harecourt , swears that Robert was born at Ellenhall, baptised in the church there, and was 21 years of age on 20 September last. He knows because William Nowell , Richard’s father, was buried in the church of Chebsey on the day that Robert Harecourt was born and baptised. Roger Swyneshed , 50 and more, married Alice his wife, still living. William Warde , 46 and more, carried a basin with ewer, and provided water for Robert’s godfathers. Richard Warde , 47 and more, knows because William his son was confirmed by the bishop of Coventry and Lichfield at Eccleshall. John Feruxhalgh , 45 and more, knows because his grange at Shallowford caught fire when full of grain. Humphrey Wetwode , 50 and more, raised a new hall at High or Bishop’s Offley (Offeley). Thomas Jerveys , 51, was godfather to Thomas, son of Nicholas Jerveys , who was baptised at Eccleshall. John Jerveys , 60 and more, was there and carrying a large candle in the church of Ellenhall. Richard Banastore , 48 and more, knows because John his son was born and baptised at Gnosall. William Preston , 50 and more, knows because Alice his daughter married Richard Jurdan in the church of Stafford. Roger Gawode , 48 and more, was riding to Stafford when he fell from his horse and broke his left arm. John Bedolf , 57 and more, took seisin to him and his heirs of a messuage in Eccleshall from Richard Bedolf, chaplain .
