This manor was confirmed to William Fitzwilliam by a fine of quin. Trin. 1325 [CP 25/1/184/25, no. 267], between him and Edmund Deyncourt and Edmund, parson of Plumtree , with remainder to John his son and the heirs male of his body. It descended successively to John, John his son, William his son and John, knight, his son. It is held of the king in chief of the duchy of Lancaster of the castle of Castle Donington by knight service, annual value 23s. 6d.
He died on 4 July last. John his son and heir was aged 21 years on 15 Aug. last.
