Jointly with Margaret his wife, who survives him, he held the manors of Moggerhanger and ‘Perotes’ in Beeston, described as a rent of 113s.4d. in Caldecote and Beeston, to them and his heirs by the grant of John Ludwyk of Hertfordshire and William Wenlok of Luton in Bedfordshire, esquires, John Blounham, vicar of Luton , and John Chance of Barking, by a charter dated at Moggerhanger on 25 July 1407 and now shown to the jurors. They are held of William lord Ferrers of Groby as a 4th part of a knight’s fee; annual values, Moggerhanger £8 6s.8d., because William Flete has an annuity of 33s.4d. from it granted by Roger and Margaret, and the manor of Beeston called ‘Perotes’, 5 marks.
He died on 3 Oct. last. Walter his son and heir is aged 5 years and more.
