Holdings
Long before his death, by charter dated 20 July 1431, and after obtaining royal licence [CPR 1429–36, p. 143], both shown to the jurors, he granted the following to Richard Taillour, parson of the church of Stoke Edith, William Carpenter, parson of the church of ? Hampton Bishop ( Hampton ), William Walwayn , and Miles Scull , and their heirs. By virtue of this enfeoffment they were seised in demesne as of fee. Afterwards, by charter dated 26 July 1431 and after obtaining royal licence [as above], both shown to the jurors, they granted the manor to Thomas and Margaret his wife and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to the right heirs of Thomas. By virtue of this grant Thomas and Margaret were seised of such estate. Thomas died seised jointly with Margaret, who survives.He died on 13 April last. Richard Walweyn of Lugwardine is his brother and next heir, aged 60 and more.
