Edlesborough, a toft with appurtenant pasture annexed to it and enclosed, together containing 10 a., each acre worth 12d. yearly; 112 a. arable, of which 20 a. lie fallow (frisc’) and unoccupied, and are worth nothing, each of the remaining 92 acres being worth 6d. yearly; 12 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 5 a. pasture in a place called ‘Edlesburgh Grene’, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 12 a. wood which can be felled every tenth year, each acre when felled worth 6s. 8d. yearly, of which 11 a. were felled and carried off a were felled and carried off year ago when Alice was alive and will not be worth anything for the next nine years; 6a. enclosed arable at Hudnall, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 37s. 9d. assize rent from various tenants, payable at the four usual terms of Lady Day, Midsummer, Michaelmas and St Thomas the Apostle; and a toft and 1 a. annexed in Northall which Walter Cuggell of Northall once held of Alice and her ancestors, worth 20d. and 2 capons worth 4d., all held of the king in chief as ¼ knight’s fee Mortain, and by paying 3s. 5d. at Easter and 7s. at Martinmas for hidage and beaupleader.

She died on 1 January last. John Houghton is her son and next heir, aged 38 and more on 27 May last.
