By indented charter dated at Bere Ferrers, 18 April 1440, shown to the jurors, he granted the manor among other things – described as all his manors, messuages, lands, tenements, reversions, rents, and services in this and other counties – to his son Roger Champernoun , and his heirs and assigns, so that Roger was seised in demesne as of fee.
He died on 30 June 1441. The above Roger Champernoun is his son and next heir, aged 30 and more.
