He was seised in demesne as of fee of
an annuity of £13 17s. 8d. taken from the farm of the city of Canterbury, delivered by the bailiffs and citizens, held of the king by fealty only.
The sum, of which £4 12s. 6½d. is paid at Easter and £9 5s. 1½d. at Michaelmas, was his share of the annuity of £30 granted by Edward III to William, son of John Cundy , and his heirs in recompense for the bailiwick of Sandwich, by letters patent dated 1 October 1355 [CPR 1354–1358, p. 326], shown to the jurors. John Isaak was one of William’s kin and heirs, as the son of Agnes, the daughter of Margaret, one of the sisters and heirs of William.

He died on 3 June 1443. William Isaak is his son and next heir, aged 21 and more.
