He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief but Robert Rigge, clerk , Giles de Esse , Thomas Reymond , John Chudderlegh , and Robert Yoo granted the following manor, mill, and advowson to John Boson for life, with successive remainders to Robert, son of John Cary, knight , and the heirs of his body; and to the heirs of the body of John Boson . The grant was made by charter shown to the jurors. John was thus seised in demesne as of free tenement and died seised of this estate. The manor etc. should remain to William Cary , kin and heir of Robert son of John, viz. son of Philip son of Robert. William was 4 years of age on 12 August last.

The grant was made by charter shown to the jurors. John and Joan were thence seised, and John died seised of this estate. Joan continues in her estate by right of survivorship.
