Long before his death, he was seised of the following in demesne as of fee with which, by charter on 3 April 1427, he enfeoffed Reynold Kentwode, clerk , Philip Englefeld, senior , Richard Quatermaynys, esquire , Thomas Rothewell, esquire , William Fachell, esquire , William Stafferton, junior, esquire , Robert Wodecok , Thomas atte Hyde , and Roger Wyncy , and their heirs. The charter was shown to the jurors.
Chesham, the manor called The Bury, true annual value £17, held of John Cyfrewast of Clewer, as of his manor of Clewer, as 1/2 knight’s fee and by yearly rent of 10s.

He died on 17 March 1438. Thomas Lynde , his son and next heir, is aged 13 years and more.
