ALICE WHO WAS WIFE OF RICHARD REDE

Regarding lands that came to the king’s hand owing to the death of Richard and the minority of John Rede , son and heir of Richard. The king has commanded Thomas Straunge, knight , treasurer of Ireland to take the oath regarding re-marriage. To be assigned in the presence of John Leventhorp, farmer of the lands, or attorneys of the heir [CClR 1429–35, p. 264].

In the presence of John Leventhorp , farmer. Assigned in dower to Alice. Hassenbrook, the site of the manor with all its buildings and all lands, meadows, and pastures, except a small meadow containing 2 acres and a field called ‘Hoberdisfeld’, parcel of the same manor.
