He died seised of the following in his demesne as of fee.He died on 13 November 1431. Hugh Skevyngton is his brother and next heir, and aged 21 years and more.
Richard Byngham, lately escheator , to whom the king granted custody of the manor by letters patent dated on 23 May 1433 [CFR 1430–37, p. 149], occupied the manor from 13 November and took the issues by virtue of his office as well as by the letters patent: he is thus answerable to the king. The letters patent were shown to the jurors.
