She held no lands or tenements in her demesne as of fee of the king in chief or another. She held 1/4 manor of Adderbury otherwise called ‘Haggeley Maner’ for life by grant of William Steuenes, chaplain , and Richard Ouerton . By their charter, shown to the jurors and dated on 26 November 1409, they granted the 1/4 manor to Alice and Henry Haggeley, her husband, now deceased, for their lives, successive remainders to William Haggeley , now deceased, and Maud his wife, now wife of Humphrey Hay , and the heirs of their bodies, and to the right heirs of Henry, as is clear in the charter, royal licence first obtained [CPR 1408–13, p. 72]. William died without heir by Maud; identity of Henry’s next heir unknown.
