Regarding lands and tenements held by knight service of the bishopric of Chichester, lately sede vacante and its temporalities in the hands of ‪ Henry V.

He held the following in demesne as of fee.
Denton, one messuage, 68 a. land, 5 a. meadow, 55 a. pasture, ½ advowson of the church there, and 16s. 6d. assize rent from lands and tenements, payable at Easter and Michaelmas by equal parts, held of the bishopric of Chichester as of the manor of Bishopstone by knight service and a mortuary payment of one fully-equipped horse. The annual value of the messuage, lands, and tenements is 60s.
He died on 1 February 1417. William Hydenye , his son and next heir, was 21 on the 23 April last.

Since John Hydenye’s death, John Turges has occupied the above and taken the issues by letters patent of Henry V, dated 11 May 1416 and issued because the bishopric was sede vacante [CPR 1416–1422, p. 9].
