Regarding his inheritance as kin and heir of John Swynerton who held of ‪ Henry VI in chief. The lands and tenements are now in the custody of William Leventhorp by commission of Henry VI [CFR 1422–1430, p. 170]. Inform William of the forthcoming proof of age.

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE. Proof of age. Brixworth 17 September 1429. [Palmer].

John Malory of Welton, 48 and more, swears that John was born at Welton, baptised in the church there, and is aged 21 and more. He was one of the godfathers. William Warde of Brixworth, 46 and more, started his journey to the Roman court on the day of the baptism. Thomas Smyth of Brixworth, 46 and more, says that Thomas his son was baptised. Henry Bray of Brixworth, 48 and more, says that his house in Brixworth caught fire. Thomas Warde of Lamport, 50 and more, married Isabel daughter of John Williamson . William Ladde of Hanging Houghton, 46 and more, says that Thomas Ladde his father suddenly brought forth foam (subito emisit spumam). John Fawekener of Scaldwell, 46 and more, says that the lord of Scaldwell married Eleanor daughter of John Haldynby on the day of the birth. Thomas Parkyn of Scaldwell, 50 and more, bought two messuages and two virgates in Scaldwell from William Johnson . Roger Power of Draughton, 60 and more, says that Roger his son was instituted as rector of Cottingham . Richard Lodyngton of Wold (Wolde), 60 and more, says that John his son was elected abbot of Pipewell . John Pese of Scaldwell, 46 and more, says that William Pese his uncle was drowned at Scaldwell. Henry Lodyngton of Wold (Wolde), 46 and more, was elected constable.
