Holdings

Owing to the death of Hawise, lately the wife of Thomas Belesby , and the minority of Thomas Belesby his son and heir, 380+[1] came to the hands of ‪ Henry V and is still in the king’s hands. Hawise held it by enfeoffment by John Barde to Thomas Belesby and Hawise, and to the heirs of the body of Thomas, with remainder to the right heirs of Thomas in perpetuity. Owing to the death of Thomas Belesby and the minority of Thomas Belesby, 380+[2] came to the hands of ‪Henry V and is still in the king’s hands. Thomas Belesby held it in demesne as of fee, to him and the heirs of his body, with remainder to his right heirs.

He died on 24 November 1429. Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Belesby and wife of John Pygot, esquire , is his sister and next heir because he died without heir of his body. She is aged 18 and more.
