There is a site with a hall, chamber, cook-house, and other buildings, worth nothing yearly above maintenance and repair; 100 a. arable demesne, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 10 a. meadow, each acre worth 8d. yearly; 5 messuages with 5 husband-lands adjacent, each messuage with 1 husband-land worth 3s. 4d. yearly; 2 cottages with 2 crofts adjacent, each cottage and croft worth 12d. yearly; 8 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 100 a. wood, worth nothing yearly above the keeper’s fee, its herbage also worth nothing yearly because common pasture for all the tenants of the vill; 400 a. moor, worth nothing yearly because its herbage is common pasture for use by the same tenants; and perquisites of court, worth nothing yearly above the seneschal’s fee. Total annual value, 66s. 8d.
He died on 9 April last. Hugh Louther is his son and next heir, and aged 30 and more.
