Holdings
He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief in his demesne as of fee or in service or of any others, but Elizabeth Melburne was seised of 1/3 manor of East Torrington in her demesne as of fee and married Peter. They had issue a son named John who predeceased her. She predeceased Peter, on 13 May 1412, and he continued in his possession as tenant by curtesy from her death until his death, and died seised of this estate. After his death the 1/3 manor descended to William Frodesley, chevalier , and Thomas Dynelay , Elizabeth’s heirs as in 818. Tenure of the 1/3 manor and extent as in 818, except that here there are also 10 a. meadow.William Frodesley held and occupied the 1/3 from the time of Peter’s death, taking the issues, as in 818.

in her demesne as of fee. Thus seised, she married Peter and together they were seised in her right. They had issue a son named John who predeceased Elizabeth. Elizabeth died and Peter continued in his possession for his lifetime and held as tenant by curtesy, reversion to William Frodesley alias Hondesacre, chevalier, and Thomas Dyneley , kinsmen and heirs of Elizabeth as in 818, except that here their ages are not given.He died on 20 November 1420. John Melburne is his kinsman and next heir as son of William Melburne his brother,n821_001 because he died without heir of his body, and is aged 26 years and more.
William Frodesley occupied the 1/4 manor from the time of Peter’s death, taking the issues as in 818.
