Holdings
Owing to the death of Mary wife of Thomas Holgill , who held by knight service of the heir of Aubrey de Veer, earl of Oxford , a minor in Henry IV’s wardship, and the minority of William her son and heir, who died a minor in Henry V’s wardship, the following came into Henry IV’s hands and are in those of Henry VI by reason of the minority of Joan daughter and heir of William, who died a minor in Henry VI’s wardship.
She died on 20 July last, without heir of her body. Walter Huntyngdon is her kinsman and next heir as son of John Huntyngdon son of Elizabeth sister of William father of Mary late wife of Thomas Holgill , and is aged 24 years and more.
