He held in his demesne as of fee the following rents, parts of the manor of Davygate, called prison of the lardiner (prisona lardenarie), in the city of York.

Bustardthorpe, 8s. rent at Michaelmas and Easter equally from 2 carucates which William Dauell holds; and 7s. rent at the same feasts equally, from a moiety of a carucate which Sibyl Maulbeche holds.
Hessle, 1lb. pepper at the same feasts equally, from 2 carucates which Thomas Santon holds.
The manor is held of the king by service of keeping his gaol belonging to his forest of Galtres, £7 12s. 1d. each year by the hands of the city sheriff to the king and his heirs at the same feasts in equal portions for the keeping of the gaol, 2 oaks in this forest each year, a buck in summer and a doe in winter in this forest every year, and also foxes and hares for hunting at his will throughout the year except the 15 days before and after Midsummer.

He died on 20 May last. Joan wife of John Thwaytes is his daughter and next heir, aged 23 years and more.
