Regarding lands held by Christine of Henry V. William died a minor in ‪Henry V‬’s wardship as her kinsman and heir.

Holdings

Owing to the death of Christine Rous and the minority of William Rous son of Robert son of Christine, and kinsman and heir of Christine, the following came into the hands of ‪Henry V‬ and are still in those of ‪Henry VI.

Alcester, 1/2 manor, in which there are the site, worth 2s. 8d. yearly; 10 messuages, each worth 6s. 8d. yearly; 7 cottages, each worth 3s. yearly; 4 tofts, each worth 9d. yearly; 20 a. land, each acre worth 6d. yearly; and 12 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. 6d. yearly. The moiety is held of the king in chief by knight service.
Ragley, the manor, in which there are a hall, 5 rooms, a kitchen, a larder, a cow-shed, a stable, a granary, a malt-kiln (unum torale) and 2 dovecots, worth nothing yearly; an orchard with a garden, worth 2s. 6d. yearly; 100 a. land, each acre worth 1 1/2d. yearly; and 10 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. 6d. yearly. It is held of Thomas Burdet, knight , by knight service.
Kingley, 90 a. land, each acre worth 3d. yearly, and 7 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. 6d. yearly, held of the abbot of Evesham by service of 1d. at Michaelmas only.
Oversley, 8s. annual rent from a messuage and 1/2 virgate, paid at Michaelmas and Easter equally, held of Ralph de Nevyll of his barony of Wem, service unknown.
King’s Coughton, a messuage and a virgate, held of Guy Spyne , service unknown, annual value 13s. 4d.
Hillborough, a messuage and 1 1/2 virgates, held of William Clopton , service unknown, annual value 24s.
Temple Grafton, a toft, worth 16d. yearly, and 16 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly, held of the prior of the hospital of St John of Jerusalem in England, service unknown.
Kinwarton, a messuage and a virgate, held of the same prior, service unknown, annual value 6s. 8d.
Bidford, 2 cottages, and 8d. annual rent from a messuage in John Hewet ’s tenure paid by the hands of the same tenants [sic] at the same feasts equally, held of Lord Burnell , service unknown, annual value 40d.
Wixford, 2 crofts, held of the same William Clopton , service unknown, annual value 2s.

He died on 3 October 1420. John Rous is his brother and next heir, now aged 15 years and more.
