Holdings

He held no lands or tenements in his demesne as of fee or in service of the king in chief or of any others, but

he held the manor of Fincham for life by grant of Walter Fitzwauter, chevalier, Lord of Woodham Walter , reversion to Walter and his heirs. Walter Fitzwauter , brother and heir of Humphrey son and heir of Walter son and heir of Walter Fitzwauter, chevalier , is kinsman and next heir of Walter Fitzwauter, chevalier . The manor is held of Geoffrey Baldman , service unknown. In the manor there are the site, worth nothing yearly; 200 a. arable, worth 60s. yearly; 10 a. meadow, worth 20s. yearly; and 60s. assize rents from manorial tenants at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions.

He died on 1 January 1420. Richard Spyte is his son and next heir, aged 50 years and more. Walter brother and heir of Humphrey and kinsman and heir of Walter Fitzwauter, Lord of Woodham Walter , was aged 21 years and more on 22 June last.

Henry bishop of Winchester occupied the manor and took all issues from his death until the day of this inquisition, title or manner unknown.
