Holdings
She held for life a yearly rent of 10 marks from the manor of Burden's Ball, which came into the king's hand on the death of Thomas Thorp by reason of the minority of his brother Ralph as appears by an inquisition returned to Chancery. Over and above the 10 marks the manor extends at 100s., of which the king was satisfied by the escheator from the time of Thomas's death. Long before she died she was seised in demesne as of fee of the manors of Yatesbury and Poulshot and enfeoffed the same feoffees on the same conditions as in 928, except that after the payment of her and Henry's debts, they were to enfeoff John son of William Ernesle in fee simple.
