She held of the heir of Richard Veer, late earl of Oxford, a minor in the king's ward, by knight service.

Holdings

She held no lands or tenements in her demesne as of fee of the king, of the heir of Richard Veer, earl of Oxford , or of others. Laurence de Pavenham, knight , was formerly seised in his demesne as of fee of the manor of Pavenham and granted it to his son Laurence and Joan Waleys , then Laurence's wife, and the heirs of their bodies, remainder to Laurence the father. Laurence the son and Joan were seised in fee tail and Laurence died without issue by Joan, who remained seised. On the death of Laurence the father the remainder descended to Katharine wife of Thomas de Aylesbury, knight , and Eleanor wife of John Tyryngham as daughters and heirs of Laurence de Pavenham, knight . Eleanor died and the remainder of her moiety descended to her son and heir John Tyryngham , a minor in the king's wardship Joan Waleys died seised and the manor therefore descended to Katharine and John as the right heirs of Laurence de Pavenham, knight . The manor is held of Lord Latimer , service unknown. There are in it the site, annual value nil because the houses of the manor are ruinous; 160 a. arable worth yearly 4d. an acre; 20 a. meadow worth yearly 12d. an acre; 20 a. underwood worth yearly 12d. an acre; 16s. 8d. yearly rent of free tenants; a several fishery, annual value 15s.; and an old mill, annual value nil because it is ruinous. She also held the manor of Brache in which there are 100 a. arable, of which 2/3 are worth 30s. yearly at 6d. an acre and 1/3 nil because it lies fallow and in common; 4 a. meadow worth 5s. yearly at 15d. an acre; 3 a. wood, annual value only 40d. because there is no underwood; £17 13s. 4d. assize rents at the Annunciation and Michaelmas in equal portions from free and customary tenants; and a water-mill, annual value only 40s. because it is ruinous. The manor is held of Neil Loryng, knight , for ?27s. at the two terms mentioned above. She also held a toft and 20 a. arable of the hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in England for 10s. yearly, annual value 20s. She held in her demesne as of fee 6 cottages and 12 a. arable of Hugh atte Spetyll for ?2s., annual value 6s. 8d.; and 3 cottages and 43 a. arable, annual value 13s. 4d., of the manor of Luton, in the king's hand because of the minority of John Cressy , son and heir of John Cressy , for 8s. 9d. A cottage called `le Kendales' and 15 a. arable are part of the 3 cottages and 43 a. She also held a croft lying under the ?garden of 'la Brache' and held of the manor of Woodcroft, rendering 2s. 7d. yearly to Reynold Cokeyn, lord of the manor of Woodcroft, annual value 12d.

She died on 11 Dec. 1420. John Waleys is her son and next heir, aged 14 years and more.
