There are in Kendal 12 messuages, 4 cottages, 200 a. arable, 60 a. meadow, 100 a. wood, 200 a. pasture and 100 a. heath, annual value 20 marks; in Helsington, 6 messuages, 100 a. arable, 30 a. meadow and 100 a. wood, annual value 100s.; in Crosthwaite 120 a. arable, 60 a. meadow, 140 a. wood and a water-mill, annual value 14 marks; in Lyth 4 messuages, 60 a. arable and 40 a. meadow, annual value 100s. The 1/8 manor is held of the king in chief by knight service, annual value 47 marks.

He died on 22 March 1421. Thomas Lumle is his son and next heir, aged 11 years and more.

the vill of Morwick and 2/3 of the vill’s mill, held of the same earl, service unknown, annual value 60s. and no more for the same reason, and
a yearly rent of 13s. 4d. from the vill of Ashington, and 400 a. arable land, 600 a. pasture and 40 a. meadow in the vills of Longhirst and Old Moor, held of John Bertram, knight , service unknown, annual value 40s., and
a moiety of the vill of Reaveley, held of Robert Vmfravile, knight , service unknown, annual value 13s. 4d. and no more these days
