Holdings
He was seised in his demesne as of fee of the manor of Ayot St. Lawrence with the advowson of the church and granted them to John Beyly and John Dancastre , who by a fine levied oct. Trin. and afterwards oct. Mich. 1383 [CP 25/1/90/98, no. 56] granted them to Thomas Barre and his wife Elizabeth, deceased, and the heirs of their bodies, remainder to Thomas's right heirs. They entered and were seised according to the form of the fine. Elizabeth died.
He died on 22 Dec. 1420. John Barre , aged 11 years and more, is the kinsman and heir of Thomas and Elizabeth, i.e. son of their son Thomas Barre .
