He died on 25 Sept. last. Joan wife of John Chesebrok is his daughter and heir, aged 30 years and more.

Holdings

[ William] Hyne and John Brunyng , clerks, held the manor of Winterbourne Steepleton in their demesne as of fee, and by a fine of 1412 [CP 25/1/51/55, no. 60] shown to the jurors granted it to John Deverose and his wife Joan for their lives with successive remainders to Richard Deverose and his wife Clemence and the heirs of their bodies, Joan, daughter of John and Joan Deverose, and her heirs, and the right heirs of John Deverose . Joan, Richard and John died, and Clemence now holds.

A moiety of the manor is held of the earl of March of the manor of Cranborne, a moiety of Reynold West of the manor of Broadmayne, services unknown, annual value of the whole manor £10.

He died on 27 Sept. last. Joan, daughter of John and Joan, and Joan the other daughter of John, sister of Joan, are next heirs, aged 26 years and more.
