He took £10 from the farm of the city of Canterbury,
being 1/3 of £30 from the bailiffs there, 1/3 at Easter and 2/3 at Michaelmas, which £30 ‪ Edward III granted in recompense for the bailiwick of the town of Sandwich by his letters patent, shown to the jurors, to William son of John Cundy , whose kinsman and co-heir he is, as son of Thomas, son of Thomas Whetynden , son of Alice, one of the sisters of William [1 Oct. 1355: CPR 1354-8, p. 326, where the grant was to John son of William Cundy].
He also held in his demesne as of fee 16 a. arable and pasture for 3 cows in Chislet of the abbot of St. Augustine's, Canterbury , in gavelkind, service unknown, annual value 40s.

He died on 31 Oct. last. Agnes widow of John Isaak, senior , and daughter of Margaret one of the sisters of William Cundy , and Joan wife of Thomas Mayhewe , one of the daughters of Constance, the other sister of William, and Robert Fygge son of Margaret, second daughter of Constance, are heirs to the £10. To the land and pasture Christine Pyghill is heir, being the sister of John Lorkyn , father of Margery, Thomas's mother. Ages: Agnes 50 years and more, Joan 40 years and more, Robert 18 years and more and Christine 80 years and more.
