He held in his demesne as of fee the manor of Barnburgh, extending in Barnburgh, Barnthorpe, Harlington, Wombwell, Millhouses, Darfield, Woodhall, Tyers Hill and Bilham, of John Fitzwilliam , son and heir of John Fitzwilliam, knight , under age in the king's ward, in socage by a rent of 20s. payable at Michaelmas, annual value £4, by a charter shown to the jurors and dated at Barnburgh on 25 July 1260.

He died on 10 Aug. 1417. Percival his son and next heir is aged 18 years and more.
