By his charter dated 31 Dec. 1415 John Teryngham granted to Thomas Aylesbury and John Reynys , knights, Thomas Reynys , Richard Towry and William Hatton and their heirs and assigns, his manors and lordships of Hatton with its members in Panton and East or West Barkwith with all lands, tenements etc., and all the lands and tenements which Alice widow of John his father holds in dower and which should come to him on her death. They are held of Lord Roos of Helmsley by knight service, annual value 40s.
He died on 15 Jan. last. John his son and heir is aged 5 years and more.

He died on 15 Jan. 1416. John his son and heir, a minor in the king’s ward, is aged 10 years and more, John Reynes, knight , and John Prykke, clerk , have taken the profits since his death.

By the same charter he also granted the reversion of lands and tenements in the parish of Croughton [in Northants] held by his brother Roger.
