It is held of the duchy of Lancaster of the honour of Lancaster by knight service, a rent of 40s. for the ward of Lancaster castle and a rent of 8s. for sheriff’s aid payable by equal parts at Midsummer and Michaelmas; annual values, site of the manor nil, 1 croft, the herbage beyond the cost of the enclosure 6d., 3 1/2 carucates in demesne 20s.4d., 16 a. meadow 16s., rents of free tenants 46s.1d., and 26 bovates of which 15 are worth 5 marks and the remainder only 16s.4d. because lying fallow.

Elkesley, lands, not held of the king but of whom and by what service is unknown, annual value 5s.

Gamston, lands and tenements formerly held by Robert de Grene , service unknown, annual value 9s.

Eaton, lands and tenements, of the honour of Tickhill , service unknown, annual value 60s.

Billinghay, the manor in Walcot and Billinghay, of the king in chief by knight service; annual value, the site nil, 2 bovates in demesne 6s.8d., and lands and tenements let at farm 26s.8d. payable by equal parts at Michaelmas and St. Botolph.

Helpringham, 20s. assize rent, of Gilbert Umfravyle of his manor of South Kyme by knight service.

Wroot, 1 toft, of whom and by what service is unknown, annual value nil because totally submerged by the rising waters.

Swinhope, the manor and advowson, of the earl of Westmorland of the honour of Richmond by knight service and a rent of 10s., annual value 30s. and no more because waste, the lands lying fallow and untilled for want of tenants.
