Arrington, 1 messuage and 30 a., annual value 13s.4d.;
and Wendy, 1 messuage and 40 a., annual value 13s.4d.
; all being parcels of the above manor, but of whom they are held and by what services is unknown.

She died on 7 April last . William son and heir of William Heron , to whom the reversion belongs, is in the ward of Robert Ogle and is aged 7 years and more.

She held for life by grant of Roger Nicholson, by charter dated 25 September 1400 to Margaret, described as Margaret, late wife of Roger Heron, knight, the holdings described as the manor of Croydon ; with remainder to William Heron, son and heir of Roger, and his heirs. William Heron died long before Margaret’s death; he had issue William Heron, knight, who survives and to whom the reversion of the manor and other lands and tenements pertains.

The messuage and lands in Malton are held of Ralph Bateman by fealty and service of ½ d. yearly.

The messuage and lands in Arrington are held of the earl of March, of the honour of Clare , by 1d. and by fealty.

The messuage and lands in Wendy are held of Ralph, earl of Westmerland, of the honour of Richmond , by suit to his court of Babraham , and by fealty.

William Heron, knight , is the kin and next heir of Margaret, as the son of William Heron, the son of Roger and Margaret, and is aged 21 and more.
