To the escheator of Northamptonshire , pursuant to 492 above. Make partition of the third part of the manor of Duston into two equal parts; and give seisin of the purparties of Alice and Margaret to William, lord Lovell and Alice, and Ralph, lord Cromwell and Margaret, having taken surety for their reliefs. Alice and Margaret are the sisters and heirs of William, lord Deincourt , who died a minor in the custody of ‪ Henry V, and who was the son and heir of John Deyncourt, knight , and Joan his wife, both of whom held of ‪ Henry IV in chief. The king, on 8 February 1423, respited the homages due from Alice and Margaret for their purparties of lands held of ‪ Henry IV in chief by John and Joan, and for other lands in various counties of England, and ordered their fealty to be taken by the prior of Thurgarton[ CFR 1445–52, p. 92].
