Holdings

She held no lands or tenements of the king or of any other in demesne or in service. John Golafre, esquire , deceased, was lately seised of the following in demesne as of fee, of which he feoffed the following and their heirs, to his use: Thomas Brons, bishop of Norwich , John Hide, esquire , Robert Burley, clerk , Thomas Elond, clerk , and William Neuman, junior , who survive; and William Fyndern , William Daunvers , Thomas Fetplace , John Stowe , and William Boteler , now deceased. They were seised in demesne as of fee, and later granted the manor to John Golafre , and Margaret his wife, who survives, and the heirs of their bodies, with reversion to the feoffees and their heirs, to the use of John Golafre and his heirs. John died seised in the above estate, entailed as above, without heir of his body. Agnes was the kin and next heir of John, as the daughter of Richard, the son of Juliana, the sister of Thomas, the father of John. She died without heir of her body. During her life no estate was conveyed to her in the reversion of the manor by the feoffees or by any other.

She died on 23 September 1444. William Coveley , aged 50 and more, is her kin and next heir, as the son of Elizabeth, the sister of Richard, the father of Agnes. He is also the kin and next heir of John Golafre , as the son of Elizabeth, the daughter of Juliana, the sister of Thomas, the father of John.

They were seised in demesne as of fee to the use of John and his heirs. The surviving feoffees are still seised by right of survivorship. Agnes was the kin and next heir of John, as the daughter of Richard de Wyghtham, esquire , the son of Juliana, the sister of Thomas Golafre , the father of John.
